Ignite strives to provide all levels of players, from beginners to experienced athletes, with an opportunity to compete in club volleyball. We design our teams to provide the best experience for each level. 

Club Teams: Description and Costs

13/14U Teams: 

• Practice 2 times per week from September to June.

• Teams compete in local and featured SoCal Cup tournaments (AAU) within their division (excluding friendlies). The tournament season runs from October to June, ending with the Showcase in June.

15-18U Teams: 

• Practice twice per week from September through June/early July. (These age divisions break for the high school season from February to mid-May). Practices and tournaments resume in late May.  

• Teams compete in local and featured SoCa lCup (AAU) Tournaments for their division (not including friendlies*). Elite teams will end their season at the Showcase in June and National teams are projected to travel to the AAU Nationals in Florida (late June/early July).

Costs

• $3,900 - $4,100.  Fees include practices for all teams and athletic training (15–18u teams), and So Cal Cup tournaments (local and featured.)

  *Any costs for teams attending optional, friendly, or additional tournaments will be billed separately. Fees for participating in AAU Nationals are also additional, and any expenses related to travel tournaments, such as hotel and travel costs, are not included.

Spring Season 

In late April or early May, there will be tryouts for new players to fill available spots on existing teams or to form new teams. Returning players do not need to try out again.

Ignite tryouts are 2 days. Players should attend tryouts on both days (August 24 and 25) for the best chance to show their skills and allow coaches to evaluate each player adequately.  Players may be offered a spot on day 1 or day 2 and can verbally commit to an Ignite Club Team but cannot sign or officially accept until Commitment Day. Make-ups typically are 1 day, but a player may be asked to return for a 2nd day of evaluation.

August 27 @5-8PM: Commitment Night and Uniform Fitting
All players who accept team offers need to attend. One parent/guardian should plan to attend to complete forms, registration, and payment.  Register for tryouts: all players must complete our online registration. Cost is $30.00 to participate. Please click the link below to register. 

Before registering, please review the age chart below to determine the correct division for your player. They should attend according to their age as defined on the chart.
