New to Ignite?

Ignite Programs

Ignite provides a place for juniors to learn volleyball, compete and be recruited for collegiate play. At the same time we recognize that all players are not alike, nor do they have the same goals. Ignite works diligently at fostering a love for volleyball, while teaching the skills of competition for those who desire to play past high school. Program ages are from 8-18, typically those starting in 2nd grade fit well in our entry level programs. 

Programs include: 

  • Group Classes (Fall 1, Fall 2, Winter, Spring 1, Spring 2)
  • Club Volleyball (Tryouts in Aug. and Oct. with season running mid-Nov. through June/July)
  • College Recruiting
  • Private Lessons (offered throughout the year)
  • Summer Series (8 weeks of summer training) & GMS Camp

Planning Ahead

Like many sports volleyball season has become year-round. There are however better entry times depending on the type of experience desired.  Informally speaking, the volleyball year is August thru early July. For those looking for the "right time" to enter volleyball, here are some key days to be aware:

  • 1st Weekend in AUGUST - 15u-18u Club Tryouts & Commitment Night (for 2020-21 TRYOUTS ARE SEPTEMBER 19TH)
  • MID AUGUST - Fall Group Classes Begin (ideal for 14u and under or beginning 16u and under)
  • 1st Weekend in OCTOBER - 14u & Under Club Tryouts & Commitment Night
  • 2020-21 CLUB PRACTICES BEGIN (15u-18u) & Tournaments begin in October
  • October - Fall 2 Group Classes Begin
  • NOVEMBER: 12u-14u Club Volleyball Teams begin practice
  • Early DECEMBER: Club Volleyball Tournaments Begin
  • for 2020-21 Club Tournaments for 15u-18u break from December 12 thru January 25th. 12u-14u tournaments will continue as normal.
  • 1st Week in January - Winter Group Classes Begin
  • February - Travel Season Begins for Club (Las Vegas)
  • 1st Week in March - Spring 1 Group Classes Begin
  • Last Week in April - Spring 2 Group Classes Begin
  • Last week in May - Season ends for 18's Teams and Select Teams (all ages)
  • Mid-June: Ignite's Volleyball Camp begin
  • Mid/Late June through 1st week in July - Last set of Year End Club Volleyball Travel Tournaments
  • July: GMS Camp hosted by Ignite Volleyball
