Ignite Girls Tryouts Fall 2026
2026–27 Club Season

Ignite Girls Club Tryouts

Competitive training, positive coaching, and a clear pathway for athletes who want to grow in skill, confidence, teamwork, and character.

Club Overview

Club volleyball is a great way to learn volleyball, increase skill, develop teamwork and character, and play in local and/or national volleyball events. Competition levels range from college-bound athletes who travel multiple times per season to entry-level club teams that participate in local USA Volleyball-sanctioned events.

The season for 11U–14U teams is November through June, with 15U–18U teams running December through June. National and Premier teams often continue into early July for final competitions. Practices are generally twice per week, with National and Premier teams adding a third practice and mandatory workouts.

Ignite offers girls club teams across multiple competition levels, from local developmental opportunities to highly competitive regional and national schedules. Club team costs generally range from $3,500–$5,800 for the season, depending on team level, tournament schedule, travel, workouts, and other player features.

What to expect at tryouts

Our goal is to evaluate athletes fairly while giving families a clear picture of the Ignite experience.

Day 1: position work and group play

Players are evaluated by position and then brought together for competitive group play.

Day 2: 6v6 team play

Day 2 emphasizes game play, communication, rotations, and team situations.

Team placement

Placement depends on skill level, roster needs, positions, number of players trying out, and available spots.

Why choose Ignite?

Ignite is built for competitive growth without losing sight of character, mentorship, and family experience.

Positive, competitive coaching

We believe athletes can be challenged without unhealthy coaching. Our coaches teach, correct, encourage, and hold players accountable.

Our own gym

A dedicated facility means more consistent schedules, fewer court conflicts, and more opportunities for extra reps, lessons, clinics, and classes.

College recruiting support

Ignite helps athletes who want to pursue volleyball beyond high school understand the recruiting process and build a plan that fits their goals.

Nonprofit mission

Ignite is a value-driven nonprofit committed to developing players, supporting families, and reinvesting into the athlete experience.

Strong training culture

Teams train with intentionality, clear feedback, and age-appropriate expectations so athletes can improve over the course of the season.

Right-sized community

Ignite is large enough to be competitive and small enough for families to feel connected to directors, coaches, and the club community.

Team levels

Ignite provides options for a wide range of athletes, from beginning club players to highly competitive travel teams.

Club cost

Ignite’s Play It Forward Foundation offers limited need-based assistance through a process that is separate from tryout evaluation and team selection.

View Scholarship Process

Play It Forward Scholarships

Play It Forward assistance is intended for families whose athletes are participating in Ignite’s team-selection process and are seriously considering an Ignite club opportunity. Athletes must be registered for Ignite tryouts before a parent or guardian may request an application link. Scholarship applications are reviewed confidentially and independently from coaching evaluations, roster decisions, and team selection.

Protect your information: Do not email financial or verification documents. Use the secure application link sent by Ignite administration.

Request the private link

A parent or guardian emails the parent email, player name, grade, and date of birth.

Complete the application

Ignite administration sends a secure Zoho application link to the parent or guardian.

Upload verification

Complete all required questions and upload the documents requested to verify the application information.

Independent review

The scholarship reviewers evaluate the application separately from the staff making team-selection decisions.

Application requirements

  • Complete the scholarship application by the stated deadline.
  • Upload all documents requested to verify financial need and application responses.
  • Certify that the information provided is accurate and complete.
  • Respond promptly if the independent review team requests clarification.

Volunteer-hour requirement

If assistance is awarded and accepted, the family must complete the volunteer hours stated in the scholarship award agreement. Ignite will provide eligible opportunities, deadlines, and a method to record completed hours.

Awards are limited, may be partial, and depend on available scholarship funds and completed verification.
